Hidden Currents Within Us

Milena Radicevic (b. 1992, Majdanpek, Serbia) is an artist who primarily practices hand embroidery and drawing. She completed her master’s studies in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade and defended her doctoral dissertation, “LOST THREAD / Embroidery as a Visual Medium,” at the same faculty in 2021. Throughout her doctoral studies, she worked as an artist-researcher at the Institute of Art History at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.
In addition to her artistic practice, Radicevic is involved in cultural management and educational work.

In addition to her dedication to drawing techniques from the inception of her artistic development, Radicevic incorporates unconventional media such as thread and wire into her work.
